After weathering the issue that plagued their relationship early on, actress Heart Evangelista makes a revelation in an interview that attests to the stronger bond that has formed between her and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
“I can see marriage down the road,” she said, “Just not tomorrow.”
The 28-year-old also declared of her 44-year-old beau, “I have already made a decision to be with Chiz for the rest of my life.”
It’s a bold statement coming in the heels of the nearly devastating matter of Heart’s parents taking issue with the senator just in March this year. This major rift nearly cast the then re-electionist senator in a bad light and obviously put his young relationship with Heart to the test.
A few months later, it has been reported that Heart and her father have already made up. While Heart has had to clarify rumors of a secret wedding with the senator by August, this new revelation will finally put the matter to rest.
Heart and Chiz are on the cover of Hola! Magazine’s December issue where the two spoke candidly about their relationship and the storm they’ve had to weather.
In the article, Heart still seemed a bit dazed about the turn of events concerning her parents, noting of her mother, “I didn’t think she would go to that extent.”
Chiz, for his part, simply related, “I don’t aggravate, neither do I try interfering…”
Heart also spoke about simply enjoying her independence and Chiz talking about their future together.
