Melai gives birth to a baby girl (Instagram)
Kapamilya actress Melai Cantiveros gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Thursday night, confirmed by her husband, actor Jason Francisco, via Instagram.
Posting a photo collage showing himself, his daughter and his wife, Jason said: “Hi Philippines & Universe here’s our first family picture (: To God All the Glory.”
The 26-year-old actor also thanked the doctors and staff of the hospital in his post. He didn’t mention the baby’s name, but used the hashtag #melasonBABY.
The former “Pinoy Big Brother” stars tied the knot December last year at the Holy Cross Parish in General Santos City, with Melai already five months pregnant.
Jason intimated in previous interviews that he won’t allow his wife to work immediately after giving birth to let her focus on their baby.
