Ynna Asistio started hanging out with Derek Ramsay way before he got into a relationship with Cristine Reyes.
On “Buzz Ng Bayan,” Ynna revealed that her friendship with Derek bloomed from their constant communications on Instagram.
She also clarified that they only finally met when she broke up with Mark Herras last August.
“Nagulat din ako kasi parang isang Derek Ramsay, papansinin ako,” she noted.
“Nu’ng nalaman niya na wala na akong boyfriend, nag-meet kami,” she said.
Ynna had her siblings in tow during the first meeting.
“After no’n, dire-diretso kami as in every day kami magkasama,” she added.
Noting that Derek didn’t express romantic intentions, Ynna never assumed she was being courted.
The new Kapamilya star denied anew her involvement in the Derek-Cristine breakup.
According to Ynna, she kept herself from them when they became an item in August though they’ve all remained “okay” with each other.
