American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Friday via Cathay Pacific flight CX901 from Hongkong.

The seven-time Grammy Award-winning group composed of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer is set to headline the 7107 International Music Festival, a two-day outdoor concert at the Global Gateway Logistics City in Clark Aviation Complex in Pampanga.

The festival will begin on Saturday, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who performed with Bruno Mars during the latter’s Super Bowl halftime show three weeks ago, will take the stage for a full 90-minute set Sunday night.

The band popularized hits like “Under the Bridge,” “Give It Away,” “The Zephyr Song,” “Scar Tissue” and “By the Way”, which they are expected to play during the concert.

Part of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to fund rehabilitation projects for Yolanda survivors.
