Ynna Asistio says she found out Mark Herras has a love child on Valentine’s Day

Ynna Asistio discovered only last Valentine’s Day that her ex-boyfriend Maerk Herras had fathered a child with another woman while they were still in a relationship last year.

The actress, 22, made this revelation in a text message to News5 reporter MJ Marfori on Monday, one day after Herras, 27, admitted in a talk show interview that he has a 3-month-old baby named Ada.

Asistio said she and Herras ended their five-year romance last July, but they continued to “hang out” as friends up until two weeks ago, and all that time he never told her that he had gotten another woman pregnant.

“Had no idea. Nung Feb. 14 ko lang nalaman. Na-shock ako kasi July kami naghiwalay then we were hanging out pa din when we broke up. Hanggang Feb. 12 nakasama pa namin siya,” she said.

Asistio, who left GMA and signed up with ABS-CBN’s Star Magic late last year, said she only discovered the truth after her aunt learned of it from a GMA employe.

She admitted that she felt betrayed by Herrras’ deception.

“Super hurt ako as in sobra sobra di ko maexplain ung feeling pero wala na ako magagawa andyan na yun. Sana happy siya and sana alagaan niya yung bata. Di ko lang matanggap yung part na wala akong idea, wala akong alam kami pa nung nabuntis. Halos isang taon naitago sa akin. Masakit sobra pero nagpe-pray na lang ako ,and I just have to accept it, di ba?”

In a live interview on “Star Talk TX”, Herras admitted that he had been unfaithful to Asistio and said he had already apologized to her and her family.

“Alam ko yung pagkakamali ko. I said sorry to her, to her family. Alam ko yung nagawa ko na mali, alam kong malaking kasalanan yung nagawa ko. Pero andiyan na yung baby, e. Hindi naman puwedeng sabihin na kalimutan ko yung baby, piliin ko sila, ‘di ba?” he said.

Herras confirmed reports that the baby’s mother — a talent handler who works for GMA Artist Center — is older than him by five years, but he denied that they are living together.
