Marian Rivera back on cover of FHM for 14th anniversary issue

As she graces FHM Philippines’ 14th anniversary cover shoot, Marian Rivera is serving notice that her reign as the country’s sexiest woman — at least, according to the magazine’s readers — is far from over.

The pictorial, dubbed by FHM as the magazine’s “fastest out of town” cover shoot, took place at Balesin Island beach in Quezon Province. Photographed by Mark Nicdao, Marian was quoted as saying that she’s more comfortable working with FHM the second time around.

“Ibig sabihin malaki ang tiwala ko sa FHM dahil ginawa ko ulit…Mas masarap makipag-trabaho nang walang wall. Mas transparent ka na sa kung ano’ng gusto at ayaw mong gawin. Very amenable naman ang FHM sa mga gusto kong gawin,” she told FHM’s Mikey Agulto.

Marian was first aggressively pursued by FHM to be the magazine’s cover girl for its 100th issue but it took another 50 issues before the long courtship finally paid off.

With Marian on the cover, FHM’s 150th issue did not only prove to be a bestseller, it also catapulted Marian back to the top of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women after first topping the annual poll in 2008.

It also led to subsequent sexy shoots for Cosmopolitan Philippines that same year and for Ginebra San Miguel for its much sought after 2014 calendar. In her latest FHM cover shoot, Marian seems to be more daring and showing more skin compared to her first time out with the magazine.

In one of two cover variants as posted in FHM.com.ph, the only visible thing she’s wearing is a shiny silver necklace.

Currently starring in the GMA teleserye, “Carmela”, Marian was recently seen with longtime boyfriend Dingdong Dantes enjoying the 7107 International Music Festival in Clark Field, Pampanga.
