Mocha Uson weighs in on Chito Miranda, Wally Bayola sex video scandals

Mocha Uson has no problem with the leaked sex videos of Chito Miranda and Neri Naig.

As a matter of fact, when the first of two sex videos involving the couple went viral last August, the outspoken singer-actress immediately addressed the issue in an article she posted on her blog.

“We all have our unique ways of expressing sexual intimacy. Making a sex tape is a subtle art. It can add more sensory pleasures to the experience. Filming can feel good but it’s not for everyone. If it’s not your cup of tea, don’t force it,” she wrote at the time.

InterAksyon caught up with Mocha during the recent CineFilipino film festival awards night at Resorts World Manila where her film, “Mga Alaala ng Tag-Ulan”, was one of the entries. She reiterated her position that there was nothing wrong with the sex video of Chito and Neri.

“The video was meant to be private and they’re a couple so I don’t see anything wrong with that. Ang problema, nag-leak yung video. Pero sa totoo lang, wala naman silang ginagawang mali,” she pointed out.

Explaining why couples videotape themselves while having sex, Mocha enumerated five valid reasons in her blog: “to enhance their performance, they prefer watching themselves [rather] than porn, to spice up their sex life, to fulfill a fantasy, they do it for fun.”

Mocha, however, drew the line on the sex video involving Wally Bayola and former EB babe Yosh Rivera which, she said, she had not yet seen. Citing Wally’s marital status, Mocha insisted that she advocates “responsible hornyness”.

“Iba kasi yung situwasyon ni Wally. It’s okay to be horny as long as you’re both single or you are committed partners so dapat, be responsible,” she pointed out.

Noting that she personally knows both Chito and Wally as their respective acts (Parokya ni Edgar, Jose and Wally and the Mocha Girls) have been billed together in several live shows, she admitted that she felt awkward about learning about their involvement in such scandals.

“People should not judge them harshly,” she declared. She wrote that Chito, in particular, is someone she admires as an artist.

“I’ve seen Chito perform and every song he sings is coming straight out of his heart. He cares about his fans/audience enough to give a great performance. It’s not easy to get over this (large) bump on the road. It’s going to take a strong will and I admire how Chito handled this crisis,” she added.

She agreed with Wally’s decision to take a temporary leave of absence from “Eat Bulaga” and let the issue die a natural death. She thinks Chito should also consider maintaining a low profile in light of the controversy.

“It’s probably better that way. Marami din naman kasing nasaktan, especially yung kanilang mga families,” she noted.

As for her advice to couples who wish to make a video of themselves while having sex, Mocha posted the following tips:

“1. Make sure that’s what you and your partner want. It should only proceed with the consent of both partners.

“2. Use a small, lightweight camera.

“3. Make sure the lighting is good.

“4. Make sure only one copy exists.

“5. Don’t store it on your computer. Use a USB flash with integrated program that has a password.”
