Everyone starts fresh come the New Year. We vow to do something new, get thinner or give more. In reality, it is simply the next day on the calendar, but the notion nevertheless gives people hope to change for better.

During the pocket press conference for the upcoming drama series on GMA-7, “The Borrowed Wife,” Bulletin Entertainment asked some of the cast members to share their New Year’s resolution or at least what they wanted to change in 2014.

Camille Prats, who described New Year as a symbol of new beginning, said, “I pray for prosperity and just happiness throughout the year… (And) siguro to start eating healthy, which is nagawa ko naman last year. So next year goal ko is to continue… be consistent about it…”

Rafael Rosell revealed that 2014 for him is “the continuation of journeys” that he started in 2013.

“If you want to start something, start it now… Maybe I’ll get a new walk, new smile or new attitude. I don’t know… keep more in touch with my family, with friends and just continue life,” he said.

TJ Trinidad, who doesn’t have New Year’s resolution, just hopes that he can do more films in 2014.

“Like what I did in ‘Mga Anino Ng Kahapon’ (a film entry to New Wave full-length category in Metro Manila Film Festival 2013) and ‘Sana Dati’ (Cinemalaya 2013)… (And) personally, just good health to my family, especially my wife and kids…”

Luckily for these celebrities, their “new life” this new year comes with a new TV series as well. “The Borrowed Wife” is a story about love and obsession, and how infidelity changes people’s lives and affects those they hold dear.

The series also stars Pauleen Luna, Kevin Santos, Caridad Sanchez, Yayo Aguila and Sherilyn Reyes, among others, and will start airing in January.
