Deniece Millet Cornejo is set to file a rape case against Vhong Navarro today and while the issue grew even hotter overnight with the NBI releasing yesterday snippets of the CCTV footage of the incident, many people still ask: “Who is she?”
In the Instagram account realdeniece, Cornejo is described as “Producer. Speaker. Classic lover. Entrepreneur. Modelstylist. Style ambassador Product endorser. Lasallian . Wanna be a chemist.” One of her photos show her with some celebrities and businessman Cedric Lee – who admitted to have been part of a group that beat up Navarro whom they alleged, tried to rape Deniece.
In a report aired on “TV Patrol,” the registrar’s office of La Salle College Antipolo confirmed that Cornejo is indeed their Hotel and Restaurant Management undergrad though not currently enrolled.
She also manages the online fashion shop Dark Closet international, which offers bags, watches and accessories.
In 2009, Cornejo became a contestant in the “Hep Hep Hooray” segment of the ABS-CBN noontime variety show “Wowowee,” during which she was asked if she would like to enter show business. “Sure, why not,” was her reply.
She has also appeared on several Kapamilya shows namely “Dugong Buhay,” “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Honesto.”
