Television hosts Drew Arellano and Iya Villania have taken their nearly decade-long relationship to the next level by tying the knot in a private ceremony on Friday.
Drew, 34, and Iya, 27, exchanged vows in a wedding that ended at sunset of Jan. 31. It was held at Kawayan Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The supposed “secret wedding” came to public attention in a series of Instagram posts by the couple’s friend, Paolo Valenciano.

Gary Valenciano’s son first posted a photo of a standee of the bride and groom directing guests to the venue. He captioned it: “best wedding sign EVER.”
Valenciano also shared a photo of Drew’s “Last minute groom inspection” before posting Iya’s walking-down-the-aisle moment.
Valenciano’s wife, Samantha Godinez-Valenciano, on the other hand, posted a photo of the couple’s wedding kiss.
“After 9 years ♥♥♥ congratulations @iyavillania & @drewarellano !!!! Love you both! #01i31d14 #iyavillania #drewarellano,” she wrote as caption.
Kim Atienza took to Twitter to express his best wishes for the newlyweds: “congrats! I am deeply deeply honored to be your ninong @DrewArellano and @iyavillania all the best!”
Guests who witnessed the event include Drew and Iya’s respective family and close friends.
ABS-CBN News reported that among the celebrity well-wishers were Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao, Matteo Guidicelli, Iza Calzado and Nikki Gil. Jericho Rosales’ fiancée Kim Jones and Angeli Pangilinan were present as well.

A Kapuso and a Kapamilya, Drew and Iya celebrated their ninth anniversary as a couple in May last year. The two stars have kept their relationship out of the limelight, which they both acknowledged as the secret to their lasting commitment.
