K-pop star Kim Hyun Joong is returning to the Japanese music market.
The singer and actor will release his fourth Japanese single “Hot Sun” on June 18.
The song was produced by Steven Lee, who also worked as producer of Kim’s first Japanese album “Unlimited” released in 2012 and his first Japanese single “KISS KISS/Lucky Guy.”
“Hot Sun” will be released in six editions along with the songs “Timing,” “B.I.N.G.O.” and “Good-Bye.”
“Timing” will feature Japanese pop group AAA member Mitsuhiro Hidaka.
“Hot Sun” will be Kim’s comeback song in Japan after last year’s “Tonight.”
To promote the song, he will hold an autograph signing and bracelet distribution events in Sendai, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka in Japan in the summer.
He will be flying to Yokohama to attend a special event for his Korean drama “Inspiring Generation” scheduled on May 31.
The drama, which according to KBS, is “about young fighters in the 1930′s glamorous Shanghai, China, who struggle between love, faith, and friendship,” aired in South Korea from January to April this year.
Kim will also hold fan meetings in Shanghai and Beijing in China in June.
