Jasmine Curtis-Smith opens ‘Celebrity Dance Battle Wild Card Edition’

“Celebrity Dance Battle” holds its much-awaited Wild Card Edition this Saturday, with no less than TV5 primetime princess Jasmine Curtis-Smith opening the show with her feisty dance moves.

The star of her self-titled series which will premiere this June 1 on TV5, Jasmine crosses over to the “Celebrity Dance Battle” arena to show that more than a pretty face, she also has what it takes to reign on the dance floor.

This Saturday, May 31, “Celebrity Dance Battle Wild Card Edition” gives a second chance to four former celebrity contestants who will battle it all out on the dance floor for a much-coveted grand finals slot.

Leading the list of returning contestants is Cycle 1 participant and transgender beauty and Miss International Queen 2012 titleholder Kevin Balot. Meanwhile, TV host/personality Shalala of Cycle 2 will try to prove he deserves a slot in the finals.

Two more celebrity contestants from Cycle 3 also return in their bid to make it to the final cut: professional model and TV personality Wilma Doesnt and showbiz royalty Rafa Siguion-Reyna.

Who among Kevin Balot, Shalala, Wilma Doesnt and Rafa Siguio-Reyna will join Gary David, Priscilla Meirelles, Iwa Moto and Ciara Sotto in the Grand Finals?

Their performances will have to pass through the expert scrutiny of the panel of judges composed of dance guru Douglas Nierras, dancing queen Edna Ledesma, dance diva G. Toengi and “America’s Next Top Model” runner-up Allison Harvard will definitely have a hard time judging this week’s celebrity contestants.

Hosted by the one and only dance goddess of Philippine television, Ms Lucy Torres-Gomez, and the Semerad twins, Anthony and David, “Celebrity Dance Battle Wildcard Edition” airs at 9:15PM this Saturday, May 31.
