The Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS, Inc.) honors the best cinematic achievements of 2013 as the 11th Golden Screen Awards gets underway on October 4, Saturday, at Teatrino at the Promenade, in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Hosted by John “Sweet” Lapus, the resident host of the Golden Screen Awards and winner of the Best Performance of a Leading Actor in Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), the 11th Golden Screen Awards pays tribute to topnotch filmmakers and actors in what promises to be another memorable night.
The event will have a novel format in its awards presentation. Instead of the usual podium style, John Lapus takes on a role of an entertainment talk show host in a program billed as “Unli Night of Laughter and Honor” – a talk show with the pomp of an awards night in a very light setting.
Sweet, as the talk show host, will engage the winners in a light banter, free-wheeling conversation, asking them their thoughts on being victorious and some. It promises to be a different kind of night for all the winners.
