Model-TV host Solenn Heusaff is not rushing to settle down with boyfriend, Argentine businessman Nico Bolzico.

In an interview, Solenn said she knows it’s a decision that requires careful thought especially since “there are so many getting divorced nowadays.”

She and Nico have been living together for three years now, that she deems it “like we’re married na.”

“So if it (wedding) happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I’m not pressured (to tie the knot),” Solenn continues.

Still, she admits her dream wedding crosses her mind once in a while.

“Of course, as a girl ’di ba? I want to gather all my friends from around the world on that day.” If and when it happens, that would be in France – “in between Argentina and the Philippines” – in an intimate ceremony.

Solenn has set her eyes on a designer from Israel to design her wedding gown.

For now, what’s important is Solenn’s bold declaration about Nico: “Alam ko na he is the one for me na.”

Nice and steady

Even without ring or document, Solenn and Nico have kept the relationship solid, partly by keeping it out of the limelight.

“I’m not at all into showbiz relationships, to be quite honest,” she says, particularly, “I don’t involve him (Nico) in my work.”

“He’s never seen any of my movies,” she adds.

The TV host-actress has no problem keeping Nico from the public eye because he is not into showbiz stuff. She cited a previous Gawad Urian awards night where she was nominated as the only instance he accompanied her to a function.

Solenn makes sure they talk about stuff outside of work whenever together. “His businesses, (which) I learn a lot from him. Tapos future trips, or his family. Fun, fun (lang).”

Nico approves of the nature of her work, which requires her at times to show a bit of skin.

“He’s actually very (accepting) of my career. Kahit sa Bench show, may scene ako with Paulo (Avelino), and he was watching and cheering… He was like, he’s pretending, ‘I’ll hit you! I’ll hit you!’ He was just joking around, pero andun siya (to support me).”
