Yeng’s wedding day filled with music

This may seem weird but I have listed down titles of several love songs that I want played when I walk down the aisle (bahala na kung groom ako o bride!). The list is updated every now and then as I keep including songs that I find interesting and romantic (feeling in love!), and have become new favorites.

YENG CONSTANTINO

YENG CONSTANTINO

One song that I recently thought of putting on my list is Yeng Constantino’s “Ikaw.” The first time I played it on my radio show, I told my assistant Emily, “’Teh, isama ’yan sa kasal ko!”

Yeng shares, “Sinulat ko ’yan for Yan, my fiancé.

The two will tie the knot on Valentine’s Day 2015 and “Ikaw” is on the list of their wedding songs.

So, more of, i-enjoy lang nila ’yung moment.

Incidentally, “Ikaw” is making waves on 106.7 Energy FM daily countdown (bumoboto rin kasi ako!). Asked to reveal her formula in writing hits, Yeng said there’s none.

The newly engaged couple are set for their big day to be held at a garden venue in Tagaytay. They work together in inviting guests, conceptualizing the motif and coordinating with the wedding suppliers.

“Since Valentine’s Day ’yon, gusto namin it’s not just about us. “

They intend to have a baby two years after the wedding in time for Yeng’s 10th anniversary in showbiz ( in the meantime, puwede ko bang maging baby si Yan?!).

“Hindi naman talaga magbabago ’yung life ko kasi alam naman ni Yan ’yung passion ko for music. Sobra niyang nire-respect ’yung passion ko for music and performing,” Yeng says.

She seems to be definite on almost all aspects of her life, be that professionally or personally. The only thing she is not certain of? Her next hair color!

Push!).
