Filipino sister act MICA is back in the Philippines after competing in the Korean TV singing contest “Superstar K6.”
The Cercado sisters namely Mylene, Irene, Celina and Almira from Santiago City, Isabela made history by becoming the first Filipino act to be one of the Top 11 finalists on “Superstar K6.”
MICA told Bulletin Entertainment that they came back to the country to process their working visa for South Korea.
“Aayusin po namin working visa,” the sisters said shortly before boarding their flight to Manila at Incheon International Airport on Nov. 29.
Almira said they are planning to hold a fan meeting or mini-show for their fans and supporters in the Philippines.
The sisters spent three months in South Korea for “Superstar K6.”
Irene told Bulletin Entertainment they they will return to South Korea on Dec. 14 in preparation for their performance in the “Superstar K Top 11 Concert” to be held Dec. 24 and 25 at Yonsei University Auditorium in Seoul.
They will stay in South Korea to launch their career.
MICA has received offers from different Korean entertainment agencies including well-known K-pop companies to manage them. The sisters have not picked any agency.
Irene said to hone their Korean language skills, they will enroll in a formal class in a university in South Korea.
During their audition, the MICA sisters wowed the “Superstar K6” judges with their rendition of the Disney hit song “Let It Go,” used in the film “Frozen.”
While in the Philippines, Irene said they are also planning to visit the TV show “It’s Showtime,” where they won as grand champion in 2012. They also intend to pay a visit to the governor of their home province, Isabela.
