Kapatid TV5 welcomes 2015 as Happy Network

TV5 president and CEO Noel C. Lorenzana has announced that the network has lined up exciting shows for 2015 in their aim to make TV viewing “a happier and more delightful experience for Filipinos who want to do away with heavy and problem-laden TV shows,” hence, its new tag, Happy Network. TV5 will also launch next week http://www.DearPopeFrancis.ph where Filipinos can send their personal messages to the Holy Father.

TV5, in cooperation with the Quezon City government, will present a spectacular countdown on New Year’s Eve at the Quezon Memorial Circle. TV5’s fresh and exciting new comedy shows include “Mac and Chiz,” with Derek Ramsay and Empoy Marquez; “Two and ½ Daddies” starring Robin Padilla, Rommel Padilla and BB Gandanghari; and “No Harm No Foul” featuring Ogie Alcasid and PBA superstars.

KC AND PAULO ON ‘EXCHANGE GIFT’

Looks like ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment Television is extending Christmas and at the same time celebrating Valentine’s Day in advance on Jan. 5 with “Exchange Gift.” Starring “unconfirmed” sweethearts KC Concepcion and Paulo Avelino, “Exchange Gift” is the final episode of the network’s Christmas series “Give Love on Christmas.”

This is the second time Paulo and KC have been paired for a TV project. The first was “Liham,” a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode that aired some four years ago.

KC admitted that she was shocked to learn that fans have been asking the network to pair them anew. On his part, Paulo said “Exchange Gift” is their “gift” to fans who believe in their tandem.

KC also calls “Exchange Gift” a refreshing acting job since it’s a light drama. Moreover, she describes it as having lots of “kilig moments” simply because she is working with her “crush.”

The two admitted the series had them do adlibs.
