LAUGHTER CLINICS: In the belief that laughter is the best medicine, a member of Congress has proposed the establishment of humor wards or laughter clinics in government and private hospitals.

Don’t laugh now, but Rep. Scott Davies Lanete of Masbate, who’s a medical doctor by profession, is serious in pushing his bill.

The bill calls for the setting up of special rooms filled with humorous materials such as movies, books, games and puzzles. When passed, the bill can possibly open job opportunities for stand-up comedians and other court jesters, of which Congress itself has plenty of. Laughter is said to be particularly effective in healing or making life a bit lighter for cancer patients

Albert has been feeling so low after the death of his wife, Liezl Martinez, that he begged off from the film for which he has already shot many scenes.
