Korean celebrity couple Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung are the new parents of a baby boy.
ENewsWorld, quoting a statement from BH Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment, the couple’s agencies, reported, “Lee Min Jung gave birth to a healthy son at a hospital in Seoul in the early morning of March 31, in the presence of Lee Byung Hun, who arrived in Korea last Friday.”
Byung Hun came from the US where he was filming “Beyond Deceit,” a legal thriller starring Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Josh Duhamel, Alice Eve and Malin Akerman.
“Both the mother and the baby are in good condition and are resting and recovering in the hospital,” the statement added.
“The two people will be doing their best to create a happy family, with the responsibilities of being parents. We ask for your blessings on the baby.”
Byung Hun will return to the US to resume work on “Beyond Deceit.”
A separate report said Min Jung will stay in a posh postpartum care facility in Gangnam, that is said to cost about 20 million won (P808,000) for two weeks’ stay.
