Dingdong Dantes knows that men in their 40’s and beyond may have a more difficult time getting a woman pregnant that’s why he wants a family before reaching that age.
He has a long time girlfriend in actress Marian Rivera, and while he looks forward to it, he doesn’t know when marriage would come exactly.
“Nothing is stopping me naman siguro kasi nakilala ko siya at the right place and at the right time so I think it will also come na magkakaroon ng right place and right time for that,” he said in a previous interview.
An important consideration for the actor before settling down is owning a house for his future family. He has already bought a property which he revealed would be ready for him to build a house on next year.
Dingdong shared that he is one of those celebrities you can call without a permanent address because of his work. More than spending time on the road, part of his schedules is spending at least a night at his mom’s house and also at his place in Cubao. So having his own house would be the permanent address he longs for.
Of his relationship with Marian, he said “things are looking brighter.” He described Marian to have grown maturer in life and sees her as a more “balanced person.”
The last quarter of 2013 has a lot of successes for Dingdong making it a fulfilling year already. His tandem with Bea Alonzo in “She’s the One” was a box-office hit while his GMA-7 series “Genesis” has been getting good feedback.
“When we’re filming sobrang gaan ng vibes alam mong kahit saan man mapunta medyo magiging maganda yung resulta. It was so refreshing for me at buong-buo ang binibigay ko kaya maganda rin ibabalik. This one made me all the happier kasi maganda yung reception sa tao,” said Dingdong about doing the film.
As for “Genesis,” hearing such comments fuels Dingdong and the cast to deliver even more.
“Kung ano yung nakita nila sa umpisa they could expect it all throughout the show. Hindi siya lilihis kasi yung promise na gusto naming ibigay sa umpisa dapat hanggang dulo siya. Para sa akin yun ang isa sa mga makings ng isang successful show if di sila na-disappoint mula sa simula hanggang dulo at di ka binitawan,” he said.
Recently renewing his contract with GMA Network, Dingdong expects a heavy workload in 2014.
