Radio jock-actress Andi Manzano has addressed criticisms that she pushed through with her wedding last Nov. 12 while the crisis relating to super typhoon “Yolanda” rages.
Though initially silent about it, Manzano said her piece on Instagram last Thursday.
“I will say this once and once only… I got married a few days ago in a wonderful ceremony and I am so very happy with my amazing husband GP Reyes… but in spite of the celebration… it doesn’t mean we are oblivious to the plight of our brothers and sisters inTacloban and Bohol… in fact we are already in mid stride to provide aid in our own way…”
Manzano appealed to the public to just let them “enjoy the moment,” which she said was planned for more than a year. She also emphasized that they “are not being insensitive… we [are] just not the kind of people who broadcast our charity work… but our love… that on the other hand… I will broadcast til the ends of the earth. Thank you for understanding.”
