Local celebrities took to social media to congratulate the Philippine Azkals for making it to the finals of the 2014 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup.
The team defeated Maldives to the score of 3-2 at the National Stadium in Male on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in Manila).

While updating her Twitter followers, sport news anchor Cesca Litton posted, “Whoever says futbol is boring should watch the replay of this match. If your butt doesn’t clench I cant help you.”
Her post was then retweeted by actress Denise Laurel.
Azkals will face Palestine Friday, May 30 with the winner scoring a spot to the 2015 Asian Cup in Australia.
