KUH LEDESMA
Having already made a significant mark with her songs, albums and concert performances for 35 years now, the country’s Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma wants to leave a new legacy, that of hosting a “Women’s Conference.”
Kuh expressed that the directive came from God.
“The Lord is calling me to do one. It will be a combination of a lot of talks and a lot of music. I’m putting it together because there’s a need. Our marriages are not just being attacked but destroyed. There are so much adultery, so many separations, so many broken families,” shared Kuh.
Kuh maintained that her relationship with Jesus Christ has been a key ingredient in her finding peace and contentment in life.
According to Kuh, her life was very different prior to her finding Jesus Christ.
“Before I don’t sleep much because I was always creating, creating and creating. I couldn’t wait for the next day. At two in the morning I feel that I wasn’t finished yet creating. My mind was so active and I was obsessed,” she described.
Kuh explained that “God didn’t create us to obsess, to become addicted or to become too focused on our careers.”
“You can be focused but you have to be God-focused first. Now before I go to sleep, I pray to the Lord that tomorrow is another day and that He will give me more ideas. Whatever He wants me to do, the spirit will lead,” Kuh related.
Kuh now calls her insatiable creativity – passion.
She will again showcase her artistry together with Music & Magic in a Valentines’ Day show dubbed, “The Music of the Heart, The Magic of Love” at The Theater of the Solaire Resorts and Casino.
This is Kuh’s second reunion concert with Music & Magic after their successful collaboration in October last year. Jack Salud is their special guest.
There are plans of staging the same concert abroad. Afterwards, Kuh will be busy preparing for her 35th year anniversary concert wherein she would be performing with artists she has worked with in the past years. In the works as well is a picture-coffee table book about her career.
“I like it to be a book of pictures to show that images are so powerful, words are so powerful and that the relationships we have forged in this business are important as hard work and being humble,” she exclaimed.
