Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon will be releasing her first album early this year.

She will be the first Girls’ Generation member to go solo.

In 2008, she recorded “If” for the OST of the KBS drama “Hong Gildong” and “Can You Hear Me” for the drama “Beethoven Virus.”

She also recorded “I Love You” for the OST of the drama “Athena: Goddess of War.”

She followed this with “Missing You Like Crazy” for “The King 2 Hearts” TV series and “Closer” for the TV drama “To The Beautiful You.”

She also recorded “And One” for the drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “Bye” for “Mr. Go” in 2013.

Last year, her song “Set Me Free” was included in the compilation album “S.M. The Ballad Vol. 2-Breath,” which featured singers under SM Entertainment. She also sang “Love, That One Word’ for the OST of the drama “You’re All Surrounded.”

Taeyeon made headlines after falling off the stage at the Seoul Music Awards last Jan. 22.

The organizing committee explained exactly what happened to ENewsWorld.

“As they were exiting the stage, the lift, installed on the stage floor, suddenly fell. The signals of the production stage team didn′t match, and the lift dropped about one meter from the 1.8-meter high stage, causing Taeyeon to stumble and fall into the space,” it said.

“We want to sincerely apologize once again to Taeyeon, her members, her agency, and fans for causing worry,” the committee added.
