Charice appears to be in a blue mood.
The self-confessed gay singer took to Instagram on Sunday to express disappointment over how she is being treated by some Pinoys.
Part of the caption she wrote on a photo she posted on the social media site, read, “Ang showbiz dito sa Pilipinas, mahirap. ‘Di ko alam ang status ko kung mahal ba ako ng sarili kong bansa o kailangan ko pa ring i-prove ‘yung sarili ko.”
Charice finds it unfair that whenever she hits the news, it is mostly about “issues kaysa achievements na nakukuha ko.”
She lamented how people would rather talk about “…Pananalita ko, itsura ko, mga sinusuot ko, buhok ko, sekswalidad ko, buhay ko, lahat na.”
She made clear what caused the outburst, relating how disappointed she is with “bullies” on social network sites.
“Nagsasabi lang po ako ng totoo. Ganito na talaga ngayon,” she said. “Masarap lang ilabas ang nararamdaman.”
Charice thanked God for making her strong.
She also addressed fans, saying, “Basta nandyan yung mga totoong taong nagmamahal sa akin, Love you back at patuloy ang buhay!”
The confessional came following an announcement that she will be featured on “Oprah” anew. Her taped interview will air on Oct. 19.
