People who’ve been waiting for Bamboo to star on a teleserye or in a movie better not hold their breaths.

In an interview tendered by Tattoo Home Broadband which he endorses, “The Voice of the Philippines” coach said that though there have been offers, he just isn’t cut out for job.

“The world isn’t ready to see my acting,” he quipped in jest, adding that this is the reason all his music videos don’t have storyline but just show him and his band simply in performance. Besides, his priority has always been music and he’d like to keep it that way, he added.

In line with his endorsement, Bulletin Entertainment asked Bamboo if he had ever thought of testing the power and reach of the internet by releasing an album independently online. Though he admits that it has crossed his mind, his loyalty to PolyEast Records (label he’s with for a decade now) keeps him from doing so.

Ever wondered what gadgets Bamboo prizes? Like many people, these are the tablet, the laptop and the mobile phone. The phone apps he uses most of the times are Facebook and Twitter.

“Twitter is my blow horn, Facebook is my message board,” he said.

While many people regard him as a rock artist, Bamboo simply sees himself as a musician, period. He revealed preparing for a series of shows in December that sees him doing songs few would expect from him.

From here till then, Bamboo will continue to enrich his partnership with the brand by participating in activities such as Fans’ day turned interactive live-streaming session, and others.

Bamboo is set to fly to the US soon to finish his new album set for release next year.
