Wearing a new hat as movie producer, Marian Rivera will agree to a co-venture with anybody but her boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.

“Ayaw. Ayoko talaga,” she stressed during the “Kug Fu Divas” media huddle.

Explaining that “okay na po ‘yung (nasa) relationship kami, may kanya-kanya kaming soap opera, may kanya-kanya kaming ginagawang trabaho,” she feels that there should be some things they should be able to do as individuals.

At least, lalo kaming mai-in love sa isa’t isa,” she said.

For the past few weeks, Marian has been working with ABS-CBN stars like Piolo Pascual, who starred with Vilma Santos in the indie film “Ekstra,” and even appeared as a guest on Kris Aquino’s “Kris TV.”

When asked if it has become a habit to work with her rival network’s talents, Dingdong’s girlfriend simply explained, “Nagkataon lang kasi doon sa ‘Ekstra,’ ’yung producer ay kaibigan ng ex-manager ko so pinakiusapan ako kung gusto ko daw na isa ako sa cast, kasi gusto ako ni Ate Vi na makatrabaho. So, sabi ko, bakit hindi. At ginawa ko ‘yon for love, para malinaw po,” she explained.

As to working with Ai Ai de las Alas, another ABS-CBN talent, Marian admitted it wasn’t really planned.

As one of the producers of “Kung Fu Divas”, the Kapuso prized star went all out in the promotion of her first movie distributed by Star Cinema.

Marian is also grateful to her mother studio for supporting her in this endeavor.

In fairness to GMA ay sobrang love nila ako. Hindi sila nagdalawang-isip. Sabi nila, ‘Sige, gawin mo.’
