The biggest annual gathering of Kapamilya artists known as the Star Magic Ball promises to shimmer in black and white and champagne color motifs tonight at the Fairmont Hotel, Makati City.
While local celebs are brimming with excitement about what to wear, eyes will be on the “couples” that would be attending the ball.
Upcoming “Maria Mercedes” star Jessy Mendiola is eyeing a “classy but sexy look,” as she tells “Umagang Kay Ganda,” and is expected to arrive as date of Sam Milby, who has admitted to courting the young actress.
“Annaliza” star Kaye Abad reportedly plans to show up with boyfriend Guji Lorenzana. Like many, she is excited to glam up for the event. “And (we) get to see ‘yung mga friends namin na bihira namin makita. Kumbaga, nagiging reunion na din siya para sa amin,” she told Push.
Angeline Quinto, who will be wearing a black serpentine gown by Pepsi Herrera, plans to attend with fellow singer Erik Santos. This will be her third time to attend the ball and second time as Erik’s date.
“Got To Believe” stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are likewise touted to show up together; “OTJ” star Gerald is expected to bring his girlfriend Maja Salvador.
Meanwhile Kim Chiu, who maintains being just friends with Xian Lim, is expected to grace the ball with him like last year.
