Zanjoe Marudo and Bea Alonzo
Bea Alonzo believes that her relationship with Zanjoe Marudo is strong enough to weather challenges, including the fact that their respective schedules have been keeping them apart.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, the Kapamilya actress revealed that she hasn’t seen Zanjoe for months now.
“Parang dalawang buwan na kaming hindi nagkikita. Tapos pareho pa kaming hindi ma-call or ma-text,” said Bea, who is busy filming “She’s The One” with Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes under Star Cinema.
Zanjoe, on the other hand, is busy with TV projects like the primetime series “Annaliza” and the late-night gag show “Banana Split.”
While both are enjoying flourishing careers, the 25-year-old actress noted, “Gano’n talaga, naiintindihan naman namin ang isa’t isa. It’s really the trust na nagpapa-work sa relationship (namin).”
For his part, Zanjoe admitted that they have already accepted that their relationship will always be tested.
“Natanggap na namin na kailangan natin magtrabaho. Anong gusto natin gawin? Huwag na magtrabaho tapos mag-enjoy? Hindi naman pwedeng gano’n,” the 31-year-old hunk told ABS-CBN News in a separate interview.
Nonetheless, Zanjoe believes that there will always be a chance for them to make up for the lost time. “Darating din naman ’yung punto na magbe-break ka nang matagal, so do’n naman ’yung time na pwede siguro i-enjoy ang isa’t-isa.”
The celebrity couple already expressed in their past interviews that they plan to settle down in five year’s time, and that Zanjoe is working hard to save up and buy Bea a ring.
