Zia Quizon solidifies her mark with follow-up hit

Zia Quizon, Manila Bulletin

Zia Quizon takes each vocal challenge seriously

The talented, vibrant singer Zia Quizon strengthens her hold as one of today’s exciting voices with her latest hit “Pasakalye” having the same overtones of her first hit single “Ako Na Lang.”

At the launch of her sophomore album “A Little Bit Of Lovin’,” Zia described her latest effort as “a bit more personal.” She composed some of the tracks in the album, including the title track.

“Nagtagal kaming gawin ito to make it worth buying talaga,” she said, needing no wordy explanation as her take on the classic OPM folk song “Masdan Mo Ang Kapaligiran” proved how she seriously takes each vocal challenge.

Such is the careful touch of Dolphy and Zsa Zsa’s talented daughter, not wanting to rush things to assure the quality of the finished product. Small wonder she has become a sought-after guest in public events, considering the positive vibe she exudes on and off stage.

Zia recently graced the launch of Avida Towers Asten held at Greenbelt 5 Gallery. She performed a number of songs to the delight of attendees present to witness the grand public introduction of Avida Land’s high-rise residential development to soon emerge in West Makati. More details about Avida Towers Asten are on the website.
