Beauty queen-turned-singer Krista K (formerly Krista Kleiner) is set to perform at the 1 World Music Festival happening this weekend in Singapore.
The former Binibining Pilipinas-International 2010 will be one of the international artists to perform at the music event, happening together with the Formula One race on Sept. 20 and 21.
1 World Music Festival, showcasing international talents, as well as local Singaporean and regional acts, will be held at the Marina Barrage in Singapore.
Announcing the feat is Krista K herself who posted on her Twitter account (@Krista_Kleiner): “I’ll be performing at the 1world music festival.” She included in her post the official poster of the music festival for the lineup of performers.
In another tweet, Krista K informed her followers about when she will be performing at the festival. “September 21, Main Stage at the @1WorldFest See y’all there! 
As posted on the festival’s official website (1worldmusicfestival.com) performers include Moby DJ, Snoop Dogg a.k.a. Snoop Lion, Far East Movement, Idiotape, Iggy Azalea, Infected Mushroom, M-Flo, Orbital, Tinie Tempah, Yuna, T-Pain, Superb8 & Tab, TyDi, The Cataracs, Choice 37, Cobra Starship, Connor Cruise, Cosmic Gate, I am Jesse, Inquisitive, Justin Michael, Kimkat, Krafty Kuts, DJ Fresh, N.E.R.D./MSSLCMMND, Pendulum, Miguel Migs, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, among many others artists and DJs.
Krista K, who in 2010 performed internationally as part of Julio Iglesia’s world tour, has since reinvented herself as an R&B recording artist and has released her debut album “Feels So Good.” The Fil-Am singer has also performed with Craig David and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas last April in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she was launched as a singer-performer.
