Maja Salvador fully trusts boyfriend Gerald Anderson

Maja Salvador has shrugged off reports linking her boyfriend Gerald Anderson to his “On the Job (OTJ)” leading lady Dawn Jimenez.

The rumored affair of the co-stars stemmed from their intimate scene in the Erik Matti flick.

Addressing the issue, Maja admitted in an ABS-CBN News interview, “Ano eh… Mahirap i-explain kasi, ano eh, na sa industriya kami at marami’t maraming nali-link talaga.”

The 24-year-old actress laughed off insinuation that the issue has affected her.

“Artista kami, ano ba ’yon. It’s part of the job. He’s ‘On the Job,’” Maja said in jest, adding that she actually invited Dawn to the recent “On the Job” special screening she organized.

While her relationship with the “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” actor has been put to test from the very beginning, Maja remains still and according to her, not a single controversy has tainted his full trust on Gerald.

She explained, “Kung may tiwala ka sa isang tao, panindigan mo lang ’yung tiwalang ’yun. Kasi mahirap ’pag mag-doubt ka sa isang taong malapit sa’yo.”

According to Maja, trust is key to their relationship’s success that keeps them going despite persistent intrigues. “Mas importante ang actions sa akin kaysa sa mga sabi-sabi.”

“Gano’n naman eh, hindi mawawala ’yon. Halos lahat mag-aabang ng break-up niyo, kung sino ’yung susunod niyo (na ka-relasyon). Basta ang pinaka-importante, alam niyo sa isa’t-isa na pinoprotektahan niyo ang isa’t-isa at may tiwala kayo sa isa’t-isa,” she added.

Maja said she would rather focus on her career than worry over gossip.
