Paulo Avelino is mum about talks alleging that his having a “personal problem” has become the main reason for the supposed shelving of a project opposite Angel Locsin.
According to the actor, he’d rather leave it to his management to address such issues.
“Ang management naman at the end of the day ang nagde-decide, so mas okay na tanungin na lang ang management about it,” he told PEP.
He added, “Ako naman, aktor lang ako… Well, I wanna work with Angel, siyempre.”
Meanwhile, Locsin, in a separate interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, was also seemingly non-committal about speculations concerning Avelino.
“May common friend kami na nag-explain na mayroon yatang personal problem si Paulo na kailangan niya i-prioritize. Hindi ko alam kung nai-share niya sa inyo, pero ‘yun lang ang masasabi ko. Naiintindihan ko naman iyon, kailangan niya talaga unahin ’yun,” she said.
Locsin is eager to work with Avelino, whom she deems a good actor.
“Alam ko lang na magaling siyang artista,” she said, adding, “Siguro baka may ibang pagkakataon pa. Siguro hindi lang ito.”
