She is devoid of vision

A meeting was held at the office of the artist’s handler (AH) and some members of production team (PT). The meet was part of the artist’s TA upcoming major project. Also present at the gathering were TA, her guardian (HG), and several others.

After the meeting, when they were already outside the room, HG raised her apprehension and complained to those concerned – especially to AH and PT – questioning the way they seem to be “repackaging” TA, to which HG is very much against. She made it known that the drastic changes are not acceptable to her.

The laid-back HG was reportedly indignant, pointing out the kind of outfits they have been making TA wear which she claimed make her look like a loose woman.

HG was allegedly high-strung and with the atmosphere already tense, nobody wanted to fuel HG’s angst at that moment. It was at this point that TA approached HG to pacify her. TA gave HG a piece of her mind saying that she fully trusts the people behind her whom she believes will do everything with her best interest in mind. Over the years, TA made it known that SH need not prove himself to anyone. His body of work speaks volumes.

Those who witnessed what happened were one in saying that it’s about time that HG realizes and accepts the fact that TA badly needs some reinvention to stay interesting. It is a foregone conclusion that no artist, even someone as good as TA will last in the business, unless she/he remains in her comfort zone. Whether she likes it or not – the “repackaging is a necessary evil” for HG that she has to contend with.

Not Keen To Please

Unrelenting actress (UA) is often accused as cold and distant towards her fans (HF) especially those she meets in public. There had been many eyewitness accounts claiming that even picture-taking requests with UA is like asking for the moon.

One day while out in public, HF approached UA to have a photo with her. Instantly, UA got irritated, turned to her group and ranted in her dialect, “These people are so irritating. They’re always drooling at movie stars, always running after us!”

Turned out, the fan heard and understood what UA said – and in the language UA spoke, the fan retorted, “Your attitude sucks!”

UA was flabbergasted, didn’t know what to do. Unfortunately for her, many people witnessed what happened and, like UA, they were shocked, too.

There are actually several anecdotes about UA displaying these attitudes. There was an incident when UA’s group was shooting in a prominent province in the South. The shoot was done in a local parish church. Again, UA was not in her pleasant mood, looking annoyed and making her displeasure felt by the people there.

Her demeanor reached the head of the parish HP who got enraged and insulted. He lamented that other equally popular stars would also visit them and do shoots there, but none have shown attitude as that of UA’s. In fact, he found other stars kind and respectful. Thus, upon learning of UA’s conduct, HP made a vow never to issue them permit anymore the next time a TV show or movie with UA in it shoots in their place.

One person known to UA quipped that being nice to fans is not asking too much. He believed that UA had been friendly and from the very beginning, she wouldn’t be so bashed as she is now. To which another replied that asking for UA to be nice and all would be laughable because she’s just not cut out for it.
