Christian Bautista will represent the Philippines at the ASEAN-Japan Music Fair on Nov. 28 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
As posted on the festival’s website, ASEAN-Japan Music Fair commemorates “the 40th anniversary of friendly relationship between Japan and ASEAN countries and to support the Japan-ASEAN Special Summit carried out through December in Tokyo.”
The host country invited top artists from participating countries. The theme this year is “Music for Healing After the Earthquake.” The festival, organized by the Japan-ASEAN Music Fair Committee and co-organized by Japan Foundation, will be staged at NHK Hall.
Other invited artists are AKB48 / EXILE / w-inds (Japan), Mr. Zul Faden (Brunei Darussalam), Mr. Preap Sovath (Kingdom of Cambodia), Ms. Agnes Monica (Republic of Indonesia), Ms. Annita (Lao People’s Democratic Republic/Laos), Ms. Siti Nurhaliza (Malaysia), Mr. Sai Sai Kham Leng (Republic of the Union of Myanmar), Ms. Olivia Ong (Republic of Singapore), Mr. Bird Thongchai Mcintyre (Kingdom of Thailand) and Ms. My Linh (Socialist Republic of Viet Nam/Vietnam).
It is said that ticket donations will be used to invite middle and high school students from Tohoku affected region.
