TV hosts Gelli de Belen and Tintin Bersola-Babao have dismissed the rivalry issue with former “Face To Face” host Amy Perez.

“Hindi ko siya inagawan ng show, hindi ko siya inagawan ng puwesto,” stressed Gelli during the press conference of her upcoming reality show, “Face The People” – a revitalized format of “Face To Face.”

Despite admitting that she replaced Amy on “Face To Face” when the latter had her maternity leave, Gelli clarified that she returned the show when the original host was ready for it. Amy stayed in the show for a couple of months until it ended.

In fact, Gelli and Amy were supposed to originally co-host “Face The People,” but “may mga nangyari na hindi maiiwasan, hindi natuloy si Amy sa ‘Face The People,’” said Gelli.

Tintin, on the other hand, clarified that she got Amy’s “blessing(s)” to replace her in the upcoming show.

She also admitted being aware of the alleged tension between Amy and the crew and staff of “Face To Face.” Tintin, however, opted to not disclose details of the conversation with her “kumare.”

“Alam ko, 100 percent ‘yung kanyang pinagdaanan, especially nu’ng time na nanganak siya,” she said. “Ang hirap nu’ng kapapanganak lang eh, meron kang postpartum blues, naga-adjust ka pa tapos caesarean pa siya.”

Amy had also bid “Good Morning Club” farewell.
