‘Maya’ is A-OK!

Jodi Sta. Maria has finally recovered from dengue fever.


Jodi took to Twitter to announce her return to her hit daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart” (BCWMH) after her character, Maya, was not seen for a week. In the storyline, the nanny-turned-flight attendant was also diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease.


“I’m baaack :-) Thank you so much to those who prayed for me. Thank you for the love. Overwhelming. Love you guys. :-) ” Jodi wrote on Monday, Oct.7, via her micro-blogging site handle @JodiStaMaria.


Fans and followers of the 31-year-old actress earnestly welcomed her back.


Lil’ Miss Saigon commented, “Awww. We miss you so much, Mayabels! BCWMH will never be the same without you. We are glad you’re back! Much love :) .”


Tinna S. Bonifacio: “Glad you’re better now, Jodi! God is good. :) .”


Jodi’s fan club, Jodinatics, posted, “We LOVE you our dearest Jodi ♥♥♥ Welcome Back ☺☺☺ #JODInatics Hugs and Kisses for you ♥♥♥.”


Even her on-screen partner, Richard “Ser Chief” Yap (@ImRichardYap08), in “BCWMH,” tweeted, “Welcome back!!! @JodiStaMaria is back on the set! :-D .”


To this Jodi replied, “Salamat Chenes :) .”


On Monday’s teaser for the show’s Tueday episode, Maya is finally shown also recovering from dengue.
