G-Dragon, Paris Hilton watch Pacquiao-Rios match in Macau

The boxing match between Filipino champion and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao and American Brandon Rios in Macau on Nov. 24 drew well-known celebrities.

And among them were Big Bang leader G-Dragon and heiress and socialite Paris Hilton. The two were at the ringside at the Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macau Resort-Hotel in Macau.

G-Dragon and Hilton both posted photos on Instagram showing them together in the arena.

“Ringside at the #PacquiaoVSRios fight with@xxxibgdrgn. #TeamPacquiao” posted Hilton along with a photo of her and G-Dragon.

G-Dragon posted another photo with the caption “Ringside at the #PacquiaoVSRios fight with@parishilton.”

Pacquiao went on to defeat Rios in a unanimous decision in front of 13,000 people in the arena.

“Watching the #PacMan win with @ibgdrgn [G-Dragon]. What a fight! #PacquiaoRules @ Cotai Arena,” Hilton tweeted.

@xxxibgdrgn and @ibgdrgn are G-Dragon’s usernames on Instagram and Twitter.

After the match, Hilton tweeted, “Congratulations @MannyPacquiao! What an amazing fight! You have made the Philippines & the whole world so proud! You are the Best! Love you!”

The boxing match was also shown at the Milan Ballroom of The Venetian Macau.

According to hotel’s website, “All ticket sales revenue from Milan Ballroom Live Screening will be donated to the Macau Red Cross with an additional dollar-for-dollar match by Sands China doubling the total donation amount in support of the typhoon relief efforts for the victims of super typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.”

Two days before the boxing match, G-Dragon and Hilton both attended the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong.

G-Dragon was the biggest winner in the 2013 MAMA, taking home the BC-UnionPay Artist of the Year award, one of the three top awards of the night. He also won the Nissan Juke Best Music Video for “Coup d’etat,” Best Dance Peformance-Male Solo for “Crooked” and Best Male Artist.
