Marian calls Dingdong ‘kabiyak’

Marian Rivera has referred to her boyfriend, actor Dingdong Dantes, as “kabiyak” or better half during the awarding ceremony of the 1st Gintong Palad Public Service Awards at One Esplanade in Pasay City recently.

Dingdong Dantes was unable to attend the event due to work so Marian accepted it for him.

“Sa ngalan po ng aking kabiyak na si Dindong Dantes marami pong salamat dahil ako rin po bilang kanyang kabiyak ay nakikita ko po ang pagmamalasakit at pagmamahal (niya) sa kanyang kapwa higit lalo na po sa YesPinoy Foundation (YPF) niya…” the 29-year-old actress said in a YouTube video uploaded by Filipinas Showbiz.

YPF was founded and established by Dingdong in 2009 and it aims to “help others, especially the youth, achieve their dreams of having a better life despite poverty and powerlessness.”

Marian also said that she falls more in love with Dingdong and “talagang ipinagmamalaki ko po siya…“

The Gintong Palad Public Service Awards are being given by the Movie Writers Welfare Foundation (MWWF) to individuals who selflessly reach out to other people in light of natural calamities and disasters.

Aside from Marian and Dingdong, other awardees from the entertainment industry were Arnold Clavio, Ricky Reyes, Arnell Ignacio, Ara Mina, Isko Moreno, Diether Ocampo, Aga Muhlach, Robin Padilla and Angel Locsin.

Marian and Dingdong have long been awaited to tie the knot especially when they started counting years in their relationship. There have been rumors that they’ve already exchanged vows but the two have flatly denied it. “Kabiyak” is a term usually reserved for a spouse.
