Speaking on “Buzz ng Bayan” on Sunday, delas Alas said that with the court granting the protection order she requested, she and Salang won’t be able to talk or see each other for a long time.
“Bawal sa aming mag-usap, bawal sa aming mag-text or anything. Siguro pagdating ng panahon. Siguro mga five years or 10 years from now, baka,” she said.
Delas Alas confirmed that legal processes over the annulment of their marriage are underway.
Asked what she learned from the failed marriage, delas Alas said: “Not to be too trusting.”
Delas Alas admitted, however, that she also had shortcomings that led to their separation.
“Parati kong pagkakamali, madali akong mag-react eh,” she explained. “Kunyari galit, maigsi ang pasensya ko. Tapos may nasasabi akong hindi maganda or masakit, hindi ko na mabawi.”
The actress maintained that she has since learned to quell her temper.
“Ngayon, kapag galit na galit ako, (I would invoke the name of) ‘Jesus, Jesus’ mga 10 times,” she said.
Last May, Delas Alas filed a case against Salang claiming physical abuse. Their marriage lasted for a month.
