Her apology on Twitter over a controversial incident at a bar that allegedly ended with slaps and harsh words has made Anne Curtis talk of the town yet again.
While some netizens gave the actress a thumbs down despite her prompt apology, some deemed she may have been provoked to behave as such and that her “drinking” was understandable given the venue and the occasion (she was hosting a bachelorette party).
The other parties involved have not issued a statement on the matter, and Anne herself has not granted an interview after her tweet, but some of her friends on “It’s Showtime,” and even her close friend Luis Manzano, did tweet to the effect that they are “behind” Anne on the issue.
In a statement sent to ABS-CBNNews, a co-owner of the bar wrote in part that it ‘respects the privacy of all the celebrities, models, VIPs and everyone that patronizes our establishment…as mentioned, the incident happened almost half a month ago and all parties have settled their issues privately.’
