Iwa ends issue with Jodi

It seems like motherhood has mellowed Iwa Moto.

Where before she was only too ready to spew bile against actress Jodi Sta. Maria, whom she once accused of supposedly having an affair with her ex-boyfriend Mickey Ablan, Moto is now about burying the hatchet with the “Be Careful With My Heart” star.

Sta. Maria also happens to be ex-wife of Panfilo “Pampi” Lacson, Jr., who also happens to be the father of Moto’s 3-month-old daughter, Hiromi Aiko Eve.

The reason for her change of heart is rather straightforward.

“Kasi si Pampi (Lacson), ex niya, may anak siya doon. Tapos ako, may anak din kay Pampi. Ang iniisip namin ’yung kabutihan ng mga bata. Gusto namin maayos ’yung mga bata. So ngayon, we’re okay… basta, okay kami,” she told PEP.

She added, “binago nga ako ng anak ko, binago ako ng pamilyang binubuo ko ngayon.”

Moto admitted that the friendship was initiated by Sta. Maria, who sent her a book “about breastfeeding.”

“So, I texted her. Nag-thank (you) ako sa kanya. Basically, doon nagsimula, and it ended up well, na okey kami ngayon,” she shared.

Moto seems sure that the issue is all in the past now.

“Basta, tapos na. Kung ano yung nangyari dati, ayoko na ring ibalik. Kasi siguro, may mga nasasabi akong hindi okey, kasi I was hurt before, na parang… Siguro that time, hurting pa rin ako nung mga panahon ngayon.”

As to her allegations back then, “I was just telling truth,” she maintained.

That said, she admits feeling a tinge of regret. “Siguro dati pa kami naging okey kung nanahimik na lang ako,” she told PEP.
