Leveling up? Erik gives Angeline an expensive watch

Singers Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto’s relationship seems to have leveled up based on their terms of endearment for one another.

Angeline recently posted on Instagram a photo of an expensive watch given to her by Erik.

Her caption read: “Thank you pogs. Iloveyou always @eriksantos.” “Pogs” (short for Pogi) is what the “Star Power” winner calls Erik, who, in turn, calls her “Sexy.”

Explaining the story behind the gift, Angeline told PEP: “Gift niya sa akin after ko mag-guest sa concert niya. Kasi madalas kami magbibiruan niyan, eh, na, ‘So sa lagay ba ganun na lang, thank you na lang?’ Ganun talaga kami ni Erik, so nagregalo siya sa akin ng relo.”

Erik recently staged his 10th year anniversary concert and Angeline was one of his special guests. Months back, the “Star in a Million” champ described his relationship status with Angeline as “special” and “beyond the getting to know each other stage,” and that the public should “read between the lines.”

Asked if Erik is already courting her, Angeline replied, “Hindi ko alam, hindi ko alam! Hintayin na lang po siguro natin, ’di ba, pero sobrang okay naman kami ni Erik talaga.” She described him as “sobrang sweet” and that their closeness sprang from working together here and abroad.

“Alam naman ni Erik na mahal ko siya. Alam niya ’yun,” Angeline added.

Before leaving Manila for an engagement, Erik took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself with the female singer. “Huling hirit before umalis! Ma-mimiss kita! See you when you get back. Safe flight Sexy! @angelineq1.”

Angeline also shared a photo of herself and Erik on Instagram. “Mamimiss kita pogs.Thankyou sa pag iintindi lagi Iloveyou always. see you December,” she wrote.

Angeline turned 24 years old last Nov. 26. Erik earlier posted: “Happiest birthday to you SEXY @angelineq1! I love you!”
