KC and Chandler’s Insta-date

The much talked-about dinner date between KC Concepcion and Houston Rockets ballplayer Chandler Parsons has been confirmed by both parties – with Instagram photos, to boot!

“Mabuhay! So much to see, so little time! Fun night with my ladiez & the big boys. @chandlerparsons,” the caption read in the photo collage, uploaded on KC’s official Instagram account on Thursday, Oct. 10.

The photo confirms Chandler’s earlier statement of having dinner with the Filipina actress on Wednesday night.

He related, “We had dinner last night. We had a mutual friend who put us in contact, and hopefully we can do some work together in the future here. She’s (KC) a great girl, and I had a good time last night.”

More a family affair than anything else, the former MTV Asia VJ reportedly came to the group dinner with her sisters Chloe and Gabrielle in tow; the 24-year-old NBA player, meanwhile, was said to be with his father, Gary Parsons.

However, after KC posted the photo collage on her Instagram account, some of her fans have expressed their concern by notifying her and tagging her on several recent photo uploads of Chandler with another girl. While some netizens and news reports had jumped the gun on what Chandler’s relationship with the woman is, there hasn’t been any concrete proof to support the claim; nor has the player issued any statement on the matter as of this writing.

Earlier this year, TV host Kris Aquino had teased her then-guest co-host KC to an unnamed basketball player, on “Kris TV.” Aquino went on implying that the man is a member of the Houston Rockets.

The two have also been following each other on Twitter, and were also seen exchanging tweets on the micro-blogging site.

Chandler and his team are currently in town for a preseason game against the Indiana Pacers today at the Mall Of Asia Arena. The NBA game is a first here in the country.
