Janice and John now on speaking terms

Former couple Janice de Belen and John Estrada seems to have patched things up.

While hosting “Buzz ng Bayan,” Janice alluded that she and John are now on speaking terms. She said so after the show aired a report on celebrities who keep in touch after breakup.

“Nag-uusap na kami ni John,” she shared.

The two got married in 1992 but called it quits in 2001 with rumors romantically linking John to other woman. They got annulled in 2004 and since then, both have aired grievance and controversial remarks at and about each other in past interviews.

Asked to give more details, Janice simply said, “Okay kami, ’yun na lang ’yun, that’s a good start.”

She maintained that their communication is on the subject of their four children — Inah, Moira, Kaila and Yuan.

“First, we have kids (at) naging mag-asawa kami…”

In a past interview with Cinema News, the “Honesto” star related that “Sa akin, simple lang. It has nothing to do with me, it has nothing to do with my past with him. It’s just simple, support your children right.”

Janice has remained single while John married and has a child with former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles.
