No reality TV for Team Kramer

Despite numerous offers, celebrity family Team Kramer will not be doing a TV reality show any time soon.

In a recent interview, Cheska Garcia-Kramer explained she and her husband, basketball player Doug Kramer, made the choice in order to “control” what they share to the public.

She says, “Kasi (right now), with (us uploading) pictures (on social media), people can already think whatever they want to think or, you know, judge, right? But more so when you’re on TV.”

Personally, Cheska is not afraid of critics; she is worried, however, for their children Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin, all of whom she says “are too young to be under the scrutiny of people.”

“Now pa nga lang with just pictures eh (ganun na), what more if we do a reality show? That’s why (the idea of doing a TV show is) always out of the picture.”

The celebrity mom says they’re open to do a lifestyle show for parents and children.

Keeping up with Kendra

Of Cheska’s three kids, it appears eldest Kendra is the most popular. It’s a good thing, then, that she was able to teach her daughter how to handle the spotlight.

“She likes that people know and admire her, but of course, since she’s five years old, ’yung attention span niya, or her patience when it comes to picture-taking minsan (maikli and she’ll say,) ‘I want to play already, I want to go.’ So I tell her, ‘A little more,’ especially ’pag minsan masyado nang madami. ‘Just one last picture Kendra. Just say hi, and then just tell them na lang that you want to go back to play na, politely and nicely,’” Cheska shares.

She believes it’s just a matter of “really teaching her how to be patient,” despite giving the young girl leeway to be herself.

Family first

Cheska is standing firm on prioritizing family over work.

“My management knows I have to be home at a certain time because I have to take care of my kids. I do work that doesn’t take me away too much from my children,” she notes.

The actress-model considers her family as her life.

“Nobody can compare to how important they are in my life… and no amount of material thing or great things can surmount whatever dedication I have for them.”

Cheska recently graced Kleenex’s Face Anything event, along with socialite Divine Lee, fashion bloggers Laureen Uy and Nicole Andersson, and volleyball player Gretchen Ho.

“For somebody who’s always on the go, it’s important that I have my Kleenex with me all the time. Also, I have kids so it’s important to have tissue with me all the time, so I could keep my children tidy and clean,” the celebrity mom shares.

Face Anything also announced that Kleenex now uses cucumber extract in its products.

Kleenex Family Care senior brand manager Ritz Tan explains, “With cucumber extract, we developed a new softer-than-before Kleenex that’s sure to give women a soft and gentle clean, enhancing her image to keep her looking fresh throughout the day.”
