Actress Song Hye Kyo wins grand prize at APAN Star Awards

Actress Song Hye Kyo bagged the “Daesang” or Grand Prize at the 2013 APAN Star Awards held in Daejeon, South Korea.

Song Hye Kyo won the award for her role in “That Winter The Wind Blows,” a drama which aired in Korea starting last February. The actress played a blind heiress opposite actor Jo In-Sung in the drama.

Lee Jun Ki won Best Actor for “Two Weeks” and Lee Bo Young took home the Best Actress award for “I Hear Your Voice.”

Lee Jong Suk bagged the Excellent Actor award for “I Hear Your Voice” and “School 2013″ while Kim So Yeon won the Excellent Actress Award for “Two Weeks.”

Jung Woong In and Kim Sung Ryung snagged the actor and actress awards for “I Hear Your Voice” and “Yawang,” respectively.

Kim Byung Soo grabbed the Best Director award for “Nine.”

Two stars took home the Male Rookie Actor Award. They were Kim Woon Bin who won for “School 2013″ and Choi Jin Hyuk for “Book of the House of Gu.”

Kim Yu Ri and Lee Yu Bi won the Female Rookie Actor Award for “Cheongdam Alice” and “The Sun of My Master” and “Book of the House of Gu,” respectively.

Other winners are:

Writer’s Award: So Hyun Kyung for “My Daughter Seoyoung” and “Two Weeks”

Achievement Award: Choo Ja Hyun and Jung Doo Hong

Best Couple Award: Lee Jong Suk and Lee Bo Young for “I Hear Your Voice”

Popular Star Award – Oh Yeon Seo for “Oh Ja Ryong Is Coming” and Joo Ji Hoon for “Five Fingers”

Child Actor Award – Kim Hyang Ki for “The Queen’s Classroom” and Chun Bo Geun for “Five Fingers”

Best Original Soundtrack – “The One” for the drama “That Winter The Wind Blows”

Best Dressed Award – Yoo In Young “Wonderful Mama” and Yeon Jung Hoon for “Gold, Appear”

Best Action Award – “Book of the House of Gu”
